The central block of the present building serves our guests since 1915, the name of the former Imperial Hotel is preserved by one of our function rooms. Since the reopening in 1985, the hotel was modernised several times. The Grand Hotel is the patron of modern Hungarian art: majority of the artworks were made by the request of the hotel, thus the artists could create their works of art by the inspiration of their future place.
As it is located along the main traffic line of the city's heart, leading to Erzsebet Bridge, Best Western Grand Hotel Hungaria has excellent public transport connections (metro and railway stations nearby) ensuring easy access to the most important parts of the city and the countryside. It is only a few minutes walk to all major shopping and business centres and the historical old downtown with the tourist attractions worth visiting.

All the 499 air-conditioned rooms are equipped with direct dial telephone, Internet access, automatic wake-up system, minibar, radio, colour TV with satellite TV programs.
Room service, laundry and valet service are also at the disposal of the guests, in the bathroom a built-in hairdryer enhance the comfort of the rooms.
Conference
The Grand Hotel Hungaria is ideal for various events offering a wide range of services for businessmen and conference guests. Conferences, banquets, meetings, and private parties for 10-500 participants can be held in the hotel's conference centre offering seven air-conditioned function rooms, all with natural light, where different set-ups can be arranged with moveable walls - variable in capacity and size. For smaller meetings several session rooms are available.

Restaurant Beatrix and Fiaker
The elegant Beatrix Restaurant and the unique styled Fiaker Restaurant await the guests with excellent delicacies of traditional Hungarian and international cuisine. In the evenings a gipsy band assures the high spirit.
Fiaker Brasserie
Recalling the atmosphere of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy with a light Vienna touch of fiakers (a special four-wheeler coach), the Fiaker Brasserie is an ideal place to enjoy a nice cold beer with salty bites while chatting with friends or having a rest after a busy day. In the romantic beer-house they offer an excellent cuisine - just like at home.
Lobby Bar
In the Lobby Bar they serve a wide selection of fresh, homemade delicious cakes, aromatic coffee, different kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Guarded parking for private cars in the hotel garage and a parking site for buses close to the hotel serve the guests convenience. A separate Check-In Room ensures a fast and smooth check-in process for the groups.
