The airport is 23 km far from the hotel. Bus, tram, underground stations of all three lines and the Western Railway Station are within 300 meters from the hotel.
The hotel was built at the beginning of the last century (located on the city board that time) and soon became very popular among the travelers. This was the first hotel in the town offering laundry, serving dietethic food and diabetic cakes, too, and radiating the atmosphere of the Golden Days. The public spaces have been decorated by the frescoes of Jeno Haranghy, and stainglass windows personalized famous Hungarian wines. Some of them survived and can still be seen on the first floor and in the function rooms of the hotel.
The hotel has been completely re-built in 1985 and enlarged by a new wing, garage, swimming pool, conference center and new facilities stay at the guests' disposal.
Since 1988 Hotel Beke is franchised member (the flagship in Europe) of Radisson International.
Heated indoor swimming pool and fitness equipment are free of charge for hotel guests. Solarium, massage and pedicure are also available. Anyone who wishes to go further will find excellent jogging opportunities on the Margaret Island, about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel.

CONFERENCE
3 function rooms separated by mobile walls and natural light on the first floor offer a wide range of different setups for up to 300 persons. Original frescoes painted at the beginning of the XX. century give unique character to the function rooms. They all display a theme of Shakespeare (Midsummernight's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Too Much Ado About Nothing, The Marchant of Venice) recalling the time when the hotel opened its doors as Britannia in 1914.
The recently built Orfeum conference center opens from the lobby, where different setups can be made with movable walls - variable in capacity and size where 20 - 250 people can be seated.
The lates technology (video conference, mobile translation equipment, internet access, etc.), the experience in the organisation of programs and the professional staff applying the Meetings & Events Concept of Radisson will grant your success.
RESTAURANTS
The Szondi Lugas Restaurant on the first floor of the hotel awaits the guests with a light mediterranean tone. The hotel waiters serve buffet lunch at noon, brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. The menu card offers mouth-watering creations of the traditional Hungarian cuisine and various international dishes all bearing the touch of our master chef, Mr. Hejja. Evenings live music entertains the public.
